Gerardo Gómez was born in Santa Tecla, La Libertad, El Salvador, Central America on January 17th, 1989.

​

He is a self-taught artist. One to not take to the educational system he decided to drop out of school to start painting full time. His interests are in poetry, music and painting since a young age. Developing a sensibility and passion for life, questioning traditional ways and opting for a new world order of creativity and playing, always playing, the most revolutionary thing we can do nowadays. He works mostly on figurative paintings with a lot of attention to color, composition and expression based in the observation and appreciation of our everyday life, our society, politics, our experience as humans beings in this present moment.
